### **Objectives:**

### **Lesson Activities:**
#### **Introduction (10 minutes)**
1. **Circle Time Discussion:**
- Gather students in a circle.
- Begin with a simple question: "What does 'community' mean?"
- Encourage students to share their ideas. Explain in simple terms that a community is a place where people live, work, and play together.
2. **Introduce Topic:**
- Show a read-aloud book about community helpers.
- Read the book, pointing out different community helpers and their roles.
#### **Main Activity (25 minutes)**
1. **Picture Card Activity (10 minutes):**
- Show picture cards of various community helpers.
- Ask students to name each helper and describe what they do.
- Discuss why each helper is important to the community.
2. **Role-Playing (10 minutes):**
- Divide students into small groups.
- Give each group a set of props and picture cards.

3. **Interactive Discussion (5 minutes):**

1. **Coloring Activity:**
- Give each student a coloring sheet related to community helpers.

- Display finished coloring sheets on a classroom bulletin board titled "Our Community Helpers."
